**Audio Visual Technician - Manchester**

Alecto Recruitment are currently working with one of our favourite and long standing clients who are in the market for an AV Technician to work within a brand new office opening in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking fora fresh challenge with all new equipment in a fast paced Digital Media company.

Following sustained growth, our client are looking for dynamic individuals who are hungry for success to complement their engineering team and directly contribute to the ambitious growth of their business.

**Main responsibilities will include**:

- Planning, set-up, operation, and de-rig of AV equipment for all events: from small internal meetings to large high profile events, both in-person, virtual and hybrid.
- Working with the Conferencing Team to ensure all AV requests are logged and entered in any system used by the AV team as required.
- Working the AV, Hybrid and Virtual Events Manager to plan and support internal events as required.
- Liaison with clients in the run up to large events, and assistance throughout events, including last minute requests.
- Hiring in additional AV services, equipment, producing purchase orders and processing invoices.
- Hosting and supporting virtual events/webinars and integrating with installed AV in physical spaces for hybrid events.
- Live stream and broadcast both physical and virtual events.
- Audio recording and filming of events, and pre and post-production for delivery of a professional result to internal and external clients.
- Carry out initial trouble shooting of any workflow or equipment issue and resolve if possible.
- Reporting maintenance issues and arranging repairs when necessary.
- Line manage AV technicians and coordinate freelancers' duties.
- Provide support, mentoring and guidance to AV technicians and work with them to improve their skills and knowledge
- Learn the correct use and configuration of new equipment as and when it is commissioned or purchased.
- Develop and document new workflows and technical processes as required and socialise these within the AV team.
- Support the AV Services Manager and provide cover in their absence.

**Ideal requirements**
- Must have on site experience within Corporate AV sector
- Must have experience using Crestron and/or Polycom
- Basic networking skills are highly advantageous
- Ambition to learn ever-changing technology, as there will would be the opportunity to become a 'specialist' in products/solutions that you take a particular interest in;
- A keen interest in technology and the audio visual/video conferencing industry;
- Experience in using Microsoft Office and generally competent with Windows and Mac OS;
- Good communication skills both in writing and verbally.

**Package**
- Competitive salary(£32,000- 38,000) depending on experience)
- Working hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm typically (some flexibility required)
