We are looking for a software QA Tester to join our client's Mobile and Web product teams. They are striving for QA to become a stronger element in these teams and the QA Tester should help them achieve this goal. It’s a great environment for learning but also influencing the growth of the development teams. You will be working on their App (iOS and Android) as well as eCommerce stores and other web based products.

We are looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in manual testing, to help bring forward Delivery and product quality. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a testing team and learn from experienced testers, but also put your knowledge and skills into practice.

This role can be performed remotely in the UK, although the option to come to our Bath offices a few times a week is available. You will need the right to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Ensure user needs are understood and user stories contain effective, actionable acceptance criteria
- Assist with estimating implementation of new features
- Take a risk-based approach to exploratory testing
- Help teams verify across all levels of test
- Ensure manual tests are organised and performed
- Help shape QA processes alongside QA Delivery Lead

**About you**:
You will be confident with manual testing and provide suitable results that will be presented to developers and Product Managers. You’ll be pushing our teams for more TDD and advocating for testing across our products. You’ll have experience with testing web products, and ideally some exposure to mobile app testing. You’re not phased by change - this is a rapidly growing and evolving company.

One of our business aims is to improve our automation and other forms of testing, so having a desire to learn or prior knowledge would be advantageous.

**Your technical experience**:

- TDD / BDD methodology
- 2+ years commercial experience in testing
- Practical knowledge of JIRA/Trello or equivalent
- ISTQB Foundation qualified or equivalent
- Experience with iOS and Android testing
