We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking house keeper to join A3. The role of the house keeper will be to support the ward team and patients. Responsible for ensuring the ward environment is a safe and well stocked environment to support patient care

Ensure that a positive image of the service is maintained, particularly when dealing with patients, clinicians and other members of NHS staff.

Communicate appropriate information to and from other service areas/environments used by child, as required.

Able to take telephone messages and pass on difficult callers. Deal with confidential information sensitively and professionally.

To assist clinical staff with their work where appropriate and with correct supervision and training.

Participate in infection prevention walk rounds and assist with action plans.

To ensure all rooms and trolleys are fully stocked, and equipment is in date and stock rotated.

To undertake the monitoring, maintenance and cleaning of medical equipment without direct supervision.

Maintenance and control of routine stock and non-stock levels without direct supervision.

Assist senior staff in the reporting and co-ordination of maintenance activities.

- If successful this vacancy will require a Standard DBS check at a cost of £21.90. This cost will be deducted from your first Trust salary

In addition to this it will be a condition of your employment that you will join the DBS update service and pay the annual subscription fee of £13.
