Gp Assistant

**£11.91 per hour**

**37.5 hours per week**

We have a new opportunity for a GP Assistant to join the Coast & Country Primary Care Network, based at the Holsworthy Medical Centre, but working across the 5 GP Practices in the network.

This post will combine clinical and administration skills with the aim of improving the individual experience of care and will also help to relieve some of the pressures faced by GP's. This is an exciting and interesting role that directly helps patients and supports the practice in the delivery of patient care.

The essential qualifications, skills, knowledge and experience for this role are:

- GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths
- Phlebotomy competence
- Clinical skills - wound care, ECG, urinalysis, clinical observation
- Face to face interaction with patients
- Working in a healthcare setting
- Working with external agencies
- Good administration skills
- Good telephone skills

**Salary**: £11.91 per hour
