**Your future plans**

As Senior Originator in our Customer Solutions UK & Ireland Team you are responsible for deals with long-term exposure and the optimization of risk. The positions for such deals come from RWE assets, third party assets or upstream contracts and need to be optimized in downstream contracts (e.g. PPAs) or trading products. The focus in this position is on power and certificates but could be extended to other commodities. In this position you will have direct influence on delivering the team’s PnL targets.
- Optimize long term revenues by identifying, negotiating and concluding structured trading products for power and green certificates
- Identify and design new structured products/services to create value and/or mitigate portfolio risk within RWE's portfolio of renewable development projects, existing assets and contracts
- Build up and constantly develop a pipeline of new commercial opportunities in collaboration with the Business Relationship Manager (BRM)
- Maintain excellent professional relationships with external counterparties and relevant stakeholders within the RWE Group
- Project manage the entire internal preparation-, approval
- and execution
- process including approval documentation / presentations and appropriate interaction with all relevant internal stakeholders such as Portfolio management, Trading Desks, Accounting, Legal, Regulatory & Compliance, Market & Credit Risk, Finance and Back Office
- Further establish RWEST as a trusted partner for all relevant counterparties & markets

**Your powerful skills**
- A highly commercial mindset, excellent negotiation skills, strong business acumen and PnL responsibility
- Work experience of min. 5 years and proven track record in a commercial role in the commodity industry in UK & Ireland / experience with renewable energy is mandatory
- In-depth understanding of all risks associated with complex commodity transactions (market, credit, regulatory, legal and liquidity risks, etc.) and ability to structure contracts with a considerate risk-/return profile is a prerequisite
- The ability to adapt/modify commercial strategy and tactics to mitigate risks in response to changes in the complex and dynamic regulatory environment
- Ability to understand, develop, document and communicate complex structures to all levels of internal and external management and ability to network and influence at appropriate levels of the RWE organization
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Business fluent English language skills are mandatory - any knowledge of an additional relevant European language would be desirable
- A true team player and enthusiasm to support RWEs growth plans in the UK & Ireland
