**Job details**:
In this busy and varied role, no two days will be the same with work covering areas including, but not limited to:

- responsibility for running the office financial administration functions for the planning service
- ensuring the collection and subsequent distribution of financial planning obligations
- working with partners to ensure timely delivery of infrastructure needs to support the growing communities of Huntingdonshire
- liaising with partners on legal agreements in relation to planning
- opportunity to support the development and implementation of identified corporate growth, and infrastructure priorities across a range of projects.

The Implementation Team plays a key role in delivering the council's ambitious Place agenda for the benefit of our residents and businesses. Working alongside colleagues in Strategic Development and Planning Policy, as well as the wider planning teams.

This role provides you with a distinctive opportunity to support the delivery of rapid growth and prosperity for the area, and see projects being delivered on-site.

**A bit about you**

With experience working in a fast-paced environment, you will have the ability to deal effectively with people at all levels. Also, be skilled at cultivating strong working relationships with stakeholders you will have contact with.

With a successful track record of providing administrative and financial support to a team, you will be known for your ability to multi-task attention to detail and organisational skills. Alos having a collaborative and proactive approach.

Any understanding of the planning process within a Local Authority would be desirable as would the willingness to develop your understanding of legislation. If you have experience in processing invoices, raising purchase orders, reconciliations and strong financial administration then we'd love to hear from you

Full training and support will be provided to anyone with the right attitude to learn and be part of a key team in the delivery of strategic and community facilities in the district.
