Waiter (Shisha Lounge)

As a Waiter at our Shisha Lounge, your primary responsibility will be to serve orders to guests promptly and efficiently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that guests receive their shisha and other orders accurately and in a timely manner. Your focus will be on providing excellent service during the serving process, while the Customer Service Representatives handle taking orders and other customer inquiries.

**Responsibilities**:
1. **Order Serving**:

- Retrieve prepared shisha and other orders from the shisha area and deliver them to the appropriate tables.
- Ensure that each order is served accurately, matching the items listed on the order ticket.
- Verify the correctness of orders before serving them to guests, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Offer additional assistance or items to guests as needed, such as extra coals or accessories.

2. **Customer Interaction**:

- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as you deliver their orders.
- Respond promptly and courteously to any requests or inquiries from guests, directing them to Customer Service Representatives for further assistance if necessary.
- Maintain a professional and attentive attitude while interacting with guests, ensuring their satisfaction with the service provided.

3. **Table Maintenance**:

- Monitor tables throughout the service period, clearing empty plates, glasses, and other items to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Reset tables for new guests, ensuring they are properly set with utensils, napkins, and shisha accessories.
- Alert the cleaning staff or management team of any spills, messes, or maintenance issues that require attention.

4. **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with Customer Service Representatives to ensure seamless coordination between order taking and order serving processes.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to prioritize tasks, coordinate order delivery, and address any guest concerns or special requests.
- Assist other team members during busy periods or as needed, such as clearing tables or restocking shisha supplies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a waiter or server in a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Must be of legal age to handle shisha and related items in accordance with local regulations.
- Willingness to adhere to a dress code and maintain a professional appearance.
- Certification in food handling and safety is desirable.
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods and carry shisha trays or supplies as needed.

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year

**Education**:

- A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
