We are an award winning family run business, with over 90 years motor trade experience. We are currently looking for an experienced Vehicle Appraiser to join our busy car supermarket based in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire.

Vehicle Appraiser/Prepper - Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire.

Full time permanent

**Hours of Work**

8.30 - 5.30 pm Mon Fri

Some weekend work.

**Salary**

£27716 p.a (Subject to experience) plus benefits

**Vehicle Appraiser Responsibilities**:

- Appraising vehicle as they arrive to site on transporters
- Road testing and appraising part exchanges.
- Checking for mechanical and cosmetic condition.
- Liaising with the management team on valuations
- Prioritising workloads to maintain deliveries deadlines
- Prepping vehicles for sales ready for valet

**Key requirements for the role**:

- Proven organisational skills
- Proven administrative skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Ability to work as a part of a team
- Computer literate
- Able to work on own initiative and under pressure
- Prior vehicle preparation or mechanical skills a must
- Machine polishing experience would be a benefit

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £27,716.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Scunthorpe, DN15 6XH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Valeting: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
