Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. As a Scaffold Builder, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling scaffolding structures to provide safe and secure platforms for construction workers. Your attention to detail and ability to work with various materials will be essential in ensuring the stability and integrity of the scaffolding.

**Responsibilities**:

- Erect scaffolding structures according to blueprints, specifications, and safety regulations
- Inspect scaffolding components for defects or damage before assembly
- Secure scaffolding to building or structure using ropes, tiebacks, or other fastening methods
- Install guardrails, ladders, and walkways on scaffolding platforms
- Ensure scaffolding is level, plumb, and properly aligned
- Disassemble scaffolding after completion of construction project
- Maintain and repair scaffolding components as needed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while working at heights

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Scaffold Builder or similar role
- Strong knowledge of scaffold construction techniques and safety practices
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for scaffold assembly
- Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Basic understanding of carpentry, welding, masonry, and electrical principles
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

**Skills**:

- Roofing experience
- Welding skills
- Carpentry skills
- Plumbing skills
- Proficiency in using hand tools for scaffold assembly
- Painting skills for maintenance and repair work
- Ability to fabricate scaffold components as needed
- Basic electrical knowledge for working with lighting on scaffolds
- Familiarity with power tools used in scaffold construction

**Job Types**: Temporary contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 10 months

**Salary**: £24.00-£25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 per week
