MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We have an exciting opportunity within our London Financial Planning & Analysis team.

The main purpose and focus of this role is to be the Business Partner for Global Markets (GM). The role will report into the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis - GCIB & GM
- Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)_
- Business partnering with Global Markets (GM) Division on all matters relating to forecasting, budgeting and financial decision support;
- Working closely with the relevant leadership team to formulate the GM business's medium to long term financial and strategic plan and partnering with Business Unit heads and business managers to build their annual budgets and forecasts. Evaluating previous budgets, expenditures to develop and implement future budgets;
- Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors. Utilising Business Intelligence and planning tools to delivery meaningful insights into business performance. Provide insights to senior management around financial modelling, forecasts and profitability;
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends and associated commentary to the Leadership team;
- Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance and communicating to senior management the reasons behind the product/department performance and results. Provide detailed analysis and commentary on cost centre results;
- Reviewing headcount plans, cost saving initiatives, revenue growth initiatives and providing a Finance viewpoint;
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions;
- Financial Planning & Analysis Strategy_
- Promoting best working practices across the broader EMEA Financial Planning & Analysis function;
- Collaborating with FP&A functions in other regions to ensure consistency of approach, transferability of processes and cost-effectiveness of systems investments;
- Partner with Information & Data Management teams to develop entity agnostic management information for the EMEA region to be used as the primary tools for FP&A
- Provide training to both Business and Finance users on Business Intelligence and FPA platforms and reporting to enable self-service
- Management and oversight_
- Maintaining and enhancing good working relationships with stakeholders, including business and control / infrastructure teams, auditors, regulators, local management and staff of the Finance function globally;
