**The day to Day**
- Manage the DTS PMO Waterfall or Agile applicable processes (such as strategic prioritisation and KPIs, classification, demand management, portfolio, and project management.
- Control delivery standards, governance for technology delivery across all technology and business areas.
- Set and manage DTS Delivery governance.
- Ensure DTS resources compliance to PMO set standards and governance.
- Deliver the overall DTS resource demand.
- Execute the DTS project delivery framework.
- Set and manage financial controls and management processes for project, program, and portfolios.
- Deliver guidance and tools to allow Project Managers to accurately manage and monitor project finances ensuring that these are adhered to.
- Manage the DTS Change Plan quarterly, annual, and 3-year strategy planning cycle, and identify any strategic dependencies for resolution.
- Show responsibility for creation of the aggregated DTS delivery plan based on demand and plans generated by various delivery portfolios teams.
- Ensure that portfolios of work support delivery of DTS strategy and achievement of targeted benefits.
- Ensure optimisation of the return on investment and consideration of all options and alternatives throughout the program or portfolio lifecycle.
- Deliver the implementation of the initiatives underpinning DTS strategic direction.
- Provide PMO quality assurance for delivery of projects and programs across all technology and business areas.
- Ensure adherence to the Project Lifecycle governance and methodologies.
- Drive decision making, identifying, and removing obstacles to progress, resolving any conflicting stakeholder issues, supported by comprehensive reporting.
- Undertake structured quality assurance and health check reviews of programmes and projects as required.
- Provide advice and support on risks and issues to the relevant individuals and governance bodies.
- Ensure projects use appropriate project methodology, techniques, and processes, throughout the entire project lifecycle and provides feedback accordingly.
- Ensure the completion of Quality Reviews of projects and programs.
- Provides a coordinated register of all IS projects from initial request to closure.
- Ensures the maintenance and action of a log of changes required, to standards and procedures.
- Ensures project management process documentation is maintained.
- Own Service Now tool as a tech delivery super-user.
- Ensure its effective use for project/program and portfolio management and reporting.
- Regularly report on the PMO processes and status of work to all team members.
- organisation to deliver successful program or portfolio outcomes.
- Establish PMO as a trusted business partner for delivery advice and guidance.
- Direct senior stakeholder communications and change management activity to ensure changes embed within the business organisation to drive benefit realisation in line with the business case.
- Manage the inter-relationship of the programme or portfolio with the wider business portfolio and business as usual business and technical operations.
