Funeral Operative

If you’re searching for a rewarding and fulfilling career opportunity, look no further. **Spencer Clarke Group** are working alongside**Brent Council** to appoint a **Funeral Operative **on a contract basis.

**Duties:
- Assist and undertake the preparation and presentation of the body entrusted to our care in a professional, caring and dignified manner, including cleansing and dressing.
- Ensuring you are familiar with each individual funeral arrangement, completing pre and post funereal checks and ensure all aspects are conducted in accordance with the wishes of the family.
- Ensure all vehicles are checked both pre and post use, ensuring they are fit for purpose and of the highest quality
- Act as driver for all vehicles including hearses, ambulances and limousines in accordance with the Highway Code and procedures, reporting any damage of faults in a timely manner
- Act as bearer for funerals as directed, ensuring correct attire is worn, a smart appearance and it is carried out professionally with dignity.

**To be put forward for this role, you must have the following:
- Able to demonstrate competence in the relevant area of work within a funeral environment
- A reasonable level of literacy and numeracy
- Current Full UK driving licence

**Pay rate**: £13 - £15 per hour, negotiable dependent on experience
