**PICKER / PACKER**

**Job Type**:Temp to Permanent

**Location**: Wickford, Essex

**Salary**:£9.50 per hour

**Hours**: 8.00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday

**THE JOB**:
Warehouse Operative - Picker & Packer. With this position you will be a part of a team taking responsibility for the Distribution Centre and all areas associated with this.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- General warehouse duties such as keeping work areas clean and safe
- Accurate picking and packing of orders
- Safe loading and unloading
- Must be comfortable with going "up & down" step ladders to pick certain items on the racking / within the warehouse area
- Must be fit and able to lift some heavier boxes/items if on your pick list daily
- Dealing with returned products and logging onto the in-house computer system

**THE PERSON**:
Skills and experience:

- Must be physically fit due to loading and unloading of products
- Able to demonstrate relevant experience in similar environment
- Good time keeping
- Good communication skills
- Accurate picking and packing
- Have good literacy skills

**Due to location transport is desirable but not essential.**
