Senior Mp&l Planner

**Job Purpose**:
The Senior MP&L Planner coordinates and expedites the flow of work and materials within or between departments according to daily and weekly production schedules. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; inventory levels and solving problems.

**Duties**:

- Ensure daily production requirements are achieved to meet customer expectation
- Analyse and prepare documents needed for production
- Data analysis and decision making to support raw material supply and finished goods demand
- Follow-up as required with all teams to expedite flow of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation
- May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency
- Liaise with stores regarding kitting of works orders
- Creating sales orders on Lakeview
- Creating scheduled purchase orders on Lakeview
- Send pick notes to stores
- Create delivery notes for dispatches
- Create box labels for production
- Packaging - internally and externally
- Input schedules from Darwin system onto Lakeview
- Create goods receipts on Lakeview
- Maintain monthly KPI’s for MP&L team
- Uphold all polices in relation to health, Safety and Welfare

**Skills/qualifications**:

- Experience in a similar role, is essential
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail and reliability
- Proactive and innovative
- To work effectively on your own and as part of a team, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude
- The ability to prioritize workload
- The ability to work well and accurately in a time-constrained and pressured environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Automotive Industry experience

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
