We are currently recruiting for a
**Payroll Advisor **to join our expanding team. We are looking for an individual to support the team in delivering an efficient, confidential and accurate payroll service which meets internal and external requirements.

**In the role of Payroll Advisor the key responsibilities include**:

- Providing a first class payroll service for approximately 12,000 weekly & monthly paid employees
- Ensuring compliance with complex and diverse corporate and statutory requirements
- Providing an effective and confidential service to all employees and outside bodies
- Committing ad-hoc payments through the company Banking & BACs systems
- Generating the accurate and timely submission of Year-End, P60 and P11D documents
- Acting as key user of the company Time & Attendance systems
- Reviewing internal processes and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

**Payroll Advisor - Key skills & experience**
- Hands-on experience in a similar or Payroll Administrator role
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel with strong payroll system aptitude
- Strong operational understanding of current UK payroll legislation
- Team player, demonstrating flexibility within a busy payroll department
- Ability to multitask, plan and prioritise own workload in a pressurised environment
- Effective communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills
- Support and embrace change & improvement
- A recognised Payroll qualification is desirable
