Would you like to be part of growing ambitious and innovative housing organisation that supports our customers through a range of services designed to empower and improve lives?

At FCHO Oldham, we have an exciting opportunity for a People Advisor, to join us on a 12 month FTC basis (maternity cover), supporting our People Business Partner and working with the wider People Team.

We are looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is delivery focussed. You look up and out as well, always keeping an eye on how things could be improved. You are confidently able to advise and support managers and colleagues on all employee relations issues, providing effective solutions in line with legislation, in house policies and following best practice.

**Requirements**:
***CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualified with a minimum of 2 years’ experience
- Extensive understanding and working knowledge of dealing with all Employee Relations issues including a proven ability of dealing with managing absence, supporting with disciplinary and grievance processes,
- Proven experience of working in a generalist advisory HR role
- Ability to collect and compile data for monthly metrics,
- Strong understanding of full employment lifecycles from starter to leaver,
- Strong written abilities, articulate and confident with the ability to ask the right questions.
- Whilst not essential, experience of working in or knowledge in a Social Housing environment would be advantageous.
