This company, part of one of the largest international energy suppliers, is one of the UK's leading providers of energy efficiency, energy management, sustainability and BIM solutions to commercial and industrial clients, notably for a number major hospitalswhere they have supported with multimillion pound retrofits.
In this role you will be responsible for the development and implementation of a commercial contracts strategy covering pre and post-tender phases of multimillion pound energy efficiency and building services projects across England. This will involve dutiessuch as tendering, contract selection/management, bid support, contract reviews, bid writing and inputting into project pricing.

The Role:

- Developing and implementing commercial strategy for tendering, selection etc.
- Advising upper management on commercial matters e.g cost efficiencies, business opportunities
- Working closely alongside Commercial Director to implement commercial process and initiatives
- Taking responsibility for due diligence during pre-sales activities, contract execution, handover etc.
- Leading on commercial activities following on from handover/contract completion
- Proving supporting during bidding process e.g contract reviews, pricing inputs, bid writing etc.
The Person:

- Previous experience in commercial and/or contract management for high-value projects
- Excellent understanding of NEC or JCT contracts
- Track record of delivering construction, building services, MEP or similar projects
- Comfortable engaging with multi-disciplinary engineering teams e.g architects, civil engineers etc
- Full UK driving license and happy with travel to sites to provide direct support
