Sports Group International has been on an exceptional journey over the last few years. Due to significant expansion and developing partnerships we are recruiting various full and part time Tutor roles across the UK for our forthcoming Academic year. Locations include Inner and Greater London, Surrey, Manchester, Brighton and Stoke on Trent.

As part of this role the FE Sports Lecturer will be involved in working with learners on a group and a one-to-one basis. The FE Sports Lecturer will deliver outstanding teaching and learning activity whilst fostering a strong learning culture. This includes ensuring exceptional outcomes and support for learners of all abilities and establishing positive behaviours and attitudes towards learning.

**KEY RESPONSBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- Lead, inspire and support learners with different abilities.
- Mark work, giving appropriate feedback and maintain records of learners progress and development.
- Manage and monitor all learner evidence in line with company and awarding body requirements.
- Devise and oversee examinations, ensure regular contact with the Education Director to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ensure all learners are progressing through their qualification adhering to schemes of work.
- Maintain regular communication with Key Stakeholders on learner progress.
- Carry out a pastoral role as a personal tutor to learners.
- Identify and plan additional support for learners as necessary.
- Act as a Company representative at parents' evenings, taster days, open days and careers or education conventions.
- Interview potential learners and conduct assessments as necessary.
- Establish work experience and carry out learner assessments in the workplace, as appropriate.

**ESSENTIAL**
- GCSE maths and English, or L2 equivalent.
- A recognised secondary or post 16 teaching qualification, e.g. PGCE, DTTLS DET, A1 Award, or the willingness to work towards one.
- 3 A‐levels or equivalent (NCFE, BTEC etc.), or relevant professional qualifications.
- Degree in relevant areas (E.g., Sports Science, Sports Coaching), or significant sector experience.
- First Aid Qualification

- Verification or Assessors Award
- Safeguarding and Prevent Training
- Fitness Instruction and/or Personal Training L2 and L3

**Pre employment Screening**

**Quality**
- Participate in regular teaching observations and in-service training as part of continuing professional development (CPD).
- Attend team meetings to monitor, review and evaluate relevant courses.
- Understand fully the national standards for each qualification.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £18,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
