**We are looking for a HR and Payroll Administrator to join our Soul Foods Group UK family in our Ilkley office.**
- This is a fixed term contract of 6-9 months, contract is 35 hours per a week._

Our Payroll Administrators provide professional, efficient, and accurate Payroll Support in accordance with agreed policies and procedures. Our Payroll Administrators enter and amend employee details into our system effectively for HR record keeping and for payroll processing purposes whilst always ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and maintaining confidentiality.

The role reports to the Payroll Manager, which reports into the Finance Function.

**What will you do?**
- Set up New Starters and complete Right to Work Checks including actioning required updates throughout the Right to Work lifecycle and uploading documents to SD Worx
- Support ad hoc projects related to the role and help drive continuous improvement for the department.
- Manage the Payroll in-box, allocating and responding to both internal and external enquires in a timely fashion.
- Make contractual changes in the system e.g., salary/ wage increase, transfers, pension, benefits, job status, job titles etc
- Assisting with the administrative process for Pension Auto-enrolment Letters, opt in/out
- Process Leavers - running monthly reports to review to ensure system is accurate.
- Process Absences: illness, maternity, paternity, shared parental leave
- Adhere to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
- Honour confidentiality of employees' pay records and documentation
- Support with ad hoc payroll admin

**What do you need?**
- Focused and diligent, with excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Some payroll and HR knowledge and experience would be desirable
- Experience in high volume, multi-company, multi-site payroll processing desirable
- SD Worx systems experience desirable but we will provide training on the system
- Highly confidential and protector of employee data
- Good working knowledge of Auto Enrolment and Pensions Legislation desirable
- Good working knowledge of UK Right to Work legislation and requirements
- **Proof of right to work in the UK on a full time, permanent basis**

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
