**The Job involves working in a fast paced fashion enviroment. You will require the skills to be both self managing when required to do so, but also a great team player working closley with the other members of you team.**

**Key Tasks in Detail**

**1) **Critical Path Management**

Updating all Critical Paths based on Company Standard CP documents - Keeping the information as Live as possible.

Chairing a weekly CP Meeting for your accounts

Ensure everyone is working to the same goal of “on time” delivery

Flag up any critical issues to the Senior Merchandiser or Merchandising Director

**2) **Raising orders.**

Confirming Orders with the customer

Raising Orders with the factory

Enter Orders on the Order log

Set up the CP for each Order.

**3) **Handover meeting ( at point of order )**

Chair the meeting at the point of order to run through the garment CAD, SPEC, BOM and CP.

This kicks off the CP and ensures all information is succinct throughout the business.

The Cad, BOM, Colour Standards, Packaging and Testing are all agreed and documents created and order placed, from the information in this meeting.

**4) **Colour management**

Creating a Colour Management sheet from the Bill of Materials provided by Design/QA

Chase lab dips and bulk dips in line with the Critical Path - ensure the submissions come in on correct quality components.

Ensure they are an acceptable match to the standard and sit with the other components to send to the customer for colour approval or approve internally if the colour for that account is internally managed.

Discuss all issues with the Account Manager or Merchandising Manager if rejections are required.

Keep files and CP up to date

**5) **Packaging**

Maintain and keep up to date the internal customer packaging manuals

Allocate the correct packaging by code (with info from the hand over meeting) to link to the customer manual and highlight this to the factory at point of order.

Chase customer and issue EAN barcode and item code info and issue to factory

Chase packaging layouts from factory in line with Critical Path dates - get customer approval if required

**6) **Fibre compositions and Testing**

Oversee all testing falls in line with Cpath - be aware of any issues that will affect CP.

**7) **Invoicing**

On receipt of packing lists, check the detail (deal with shortages and overs in line with customer manuals).

Raise a commercial invoice to customer - enter on log and hand to accounts.

**8) **General admin duties**

Tracking and logging and receipt of parcels. Also, when required, the booking of parcels

Ordering stationery and consumables

Arrange meetings, organise travel and entertaining such as customer in house meetings may need catering/ refreshments etc.,

**9) **Travel**

You may be required to travel for customer meetings to your customers head office or be involved in the customer meeting held in house. You may be required to travel overseas to the factories. You may be required to attend customer events for PR purposes and also visit stores regularly
