North Tyneside, United Kingdom Norham High School Full time

**Our Journey**:
To quote our recent Ofsted Inspection:

- "The school has been transformed in a very short space of time. Leading from the front, the headteacher leads with passion and determination. He has successfully created a sense of team spirit within the staff and pupil cohort."_
- "Leaders and staff have worked diligently to ensure pupils’ learning is well thought through."_
- "Warm, genuine, friendly interactions between pupils and their friends or teachers are commonplace; pupils hold open doors for others, smile and nod when walking by and engage in joyful banter at every opportunity."_
- "There is a respectful and supportive culture that gives pupils confidence..."_

If you are an exceptional teacher, aspiring creative leader and believe you can help us to continue our journey of improvement, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

As a member of the team, you will support the Faculty Leader demonstrating commitment and determination to continue to drive and improve standards - you will be ambitious for yourself, your team and our pupils. Like the Faculty Leader, you will display passion, energy and integrity supporting them to deliver our school’s vision and ethos. You will be able to support curriculum design and implementation that secures high levels of enjoyment and progress for all.

**Our school, our values, our family**:
At Norham High School, our motto is ‘_Pride, Determination, Strength’_.

We have a wide and growing intake resulting in the school increasing in size, this is in part due to the shift in culture and reputation but also because we are proud to be a genuine comprehensive school that serves all abilities, supporting every individual pupil to excel from their starting point.

Our curriculum is broad, balanced and well thought out supporting all pupils. For example, some pupils study Triple Science, Advanced Maths and full range of arts, while some pupils complete entry level or do not sit public exams - our curriculum offers multiple routes of progression, is highly personalised and bespoke.

We are committed to improving life chances and we have a strong sense of social justice. In joining us, you too will enjoy both the challenge and reward of serving this community - our children deserve the best and we really are making a difference to children’s lives.

**We welcome you to visit us or call**:
If you would like further information, please contact Mr Conway, Headteacher on (0191) 8143890 and visit the school’s website and social media platforms.
