We have an exciting new opportunity for a **Production Planner **who enjoys working as part of a team in a dynamic environment to help us deliver our G’s promise of supplying fresh produce that delights our customers every day.

G’s is an incredibly exciting place to work at the forefront of modern farming and food distribution, working with the biggest food retail brands in the UK and Europe. Our business has been experiencing exponential growth, at our site in March we produce over 80% of the UK’s prepared Beetroot products and we are looking to grow our team.

**Roles & Responsibilities of our Production Planner**:

- Responsible for daily and short-term production planning.
- Analysis demand and ensure appropriate stock levels, whilst ensuring stock at risk is proactively managed.
- Scheduling factory for effective utilisation of lines, labour, material, and machines.
- Generate and analyse yield, production volumes and other relevant reports that may arise.
- Creation of works orders and setup of new products.
- Close communication with all departments, primarily production and despatch teams.
- Actively working alongside Planning Manager ensuring customer service level is maintained, attending daily site meetings.
- Ensure departmental KPI’s are reviewed, attained, and look for ways to improve upon.

**Requirements of our Production Planner**:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Experience in working within a fast-paced environment, fresh produce experience desirable.
- Health and Safety awareness.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced use of Microsoft Packages

**Hours of work: 2 week rolling shift pattern, working 06.30am - 17.00pm**
