- Cumbria Waste is a leading Waste Management Operator and has an exciting opportunity to join our expanding team. Based at our Hespin Wood site, you will work in a dynamic environment linking all parts of our operation. As a Plant Operative you will assist the site management, be quality-focused, take a key role in the day-to-day operation of site activities, with an efficient and effective approach to deliver a high quality service._
- Cumbria Waste Group have a history of developing and progressing their people and providing several pathways and opportunities for progression._
- **What you’ll do**:_
- _Operate and maintain Tele-handler in and around our Material Recycling Facility and all parts of site_
- _Complete daily checks and defect reporting for the plant, keeping the plant clean (inside and out)_
- _Work in a key role, linking the team, and the operation to ensure smooth operations on site_
- _Have a strong understanding of the expected quality control, understanding specifications and targets_
- _Participate in a range of duties in addition to plant operations, including manual handling and keeping a clean, tidy workplace_
- _Work safely, according to our high standards, and continue to develop skills_
- **Requirements**_
- Tele-handler experience is required. A recognised qualification is desirable but not essential._
