You will have a can do approach and be committed to supporting people in a positive, creative way that enables people to live a fulfilled life. You will demonstrate best practice and be a role model for the team. You will receive ongoing support to ensure your continued professional development and enthusiasm for the role.

An NVQ or Diploma Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care is desirable, but a genuine passion for providing person centred support is key to being successful in the role of a Senior Support Worker. In return, Autism Initiatives will provide you with a full induction and ongoing learning to support you to obtain qualifications pertinent to the role. This is a truly rewarding role, with the opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge and your career.

Living with Covid, we continue to prioritise the safety of our employees and people we support. We provide appropriate PPE and support for vaccinations as part of our Infection Prevention Control Risk Assessments to reduce the risk of infection
