**JCA | London Fashion Academy is a premium higher education provider with its flagship campus based in the heart of London’s prestigious Mayfair.**

JCA | London Fashion Academy is seeking an outreach and school liaison intern to join the team working at the main campus in Mayfair London. This exciting role involves frequent travelling to events and fairs across UK.

**Organisation Background**

JCA | London Fashion Academy is a unique modern-day undertaking by one of the worlds most renowned contemporary designers, Prof.Dato’ Jimmy Choo OBE.

Positioned as an industry leader in the field of fashion education it follows and positively reacts to the developing higher education landscape in the UK and the Ministers call for ‘new and innovative providers opening high quality higher education’.

In its stated mission, ‘JCA will be a truly distinctive educational institution that delivers luxury brand education through a couture-styled learner centred approach that is focused on professional practice delivered within a boutique specialist incubation environment’.

The Academy offers both undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. There are two routes available to prospective students: 1) professional practice through incubation at the JCA Mayfair campus, and 2) traditional University experience through internship at the University partners’ campus in Ealing.

The Academy seeks to support the best and most gifted designers to fulfil their ambitions and fundamental to its DNA is the focused interest in supporting learners to transition from higher education into entrepreneurship and employment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Attending events and fairs, including UCAS, Career’s fairs at schools to promote our courses and academy.
- Organising virtual sessions and campus trips for schools and agents
- Conducting research on international agencies and maintaining lists of key contacts
- Maintaining spreadsheets of relevant school contacts, university professors and industry people of interest to JCA
- Working with the design team to create flyers, leaflets and promotional material
- Researching best merchandise for JCA to give out at events

**Skills**
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail
- Able to pitch our courses: Confident public speaker
- Basic Photography skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Internship
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £6.70-£10.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: One location
