Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As a Hotel Receptionist, you will be the first and last point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. If you have excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, we would love to hear from you.
Experience in hotel systems required as taking bookings and information for events, functions, weddings and accommodation on a bespoke basis.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services and amenities
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy of reservations and payment details
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area,
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records of transactions
- Collaborate with other hotel staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports
**Skills**:
- Previous experience in a hotel receptionist or customer service role is preferred
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Knowledge of hotel operations and services
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
**Salary**: £10.66-£11.83 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
