The Skills and Employment Team are looking to recruit experienced, motivated and passionate individuals to make up a new delivery team that will work to support residents into employment. Referrals will be made from primary care settings and the service will be delivered across the whole of the borough. The team will be made up of over 20 individuals who will work to deliver the best outcomes possible.

This is a new and exciting service that is being funded by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) as part of the Individual Placement and Support in Primary Care (IPSPC) service. We are looking to recruit Community Energisers to support delivery. The role will involve engaging with residents in community settings to encourage take up of support. The role will also involve supporting administrative functions within the team.

This will involve extensive use of Microsoft Office to log referrals and engagement, maintaining accurate records is crucial to successful service delivery, so attention to detail is very important. The successful applicants will work closely with Area Coordinators and Contracts and Finance Officers to analyse data and provide projects insights. Good communication skills are essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and hardworking individuals who are keen to learn and want to make a difference to residents’ employment needs as part of an effective team.

This is a fixed term position initially, as part of a wider employment support provision funded through DWP. There may be future funding/other provision available in the future.
