We are currently looking for a **Finance Assistant** to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Finance team

We offer a **competitive salary of £10.90 per hour plus gratuities* **equating to potential earnings of £12.05 per hour (based on a 40-hour week) **and excellent employee benefits**. This is an office based full-time position, working Monday-Friday.
- *Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid._

As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel Finance Assistant you will be responsible for providing support to the Finance Team, helping with the day-to-day tasks required in the finance department and keeping records up-to-date.

**Your Key Responsibilities**:

- Uploading supplier invoices onto the accounting system
- Reconciling supplier statements, requesting any missing invoices/credit notes
- Dealing with supplier queries and setting up new suppliers on the accounting system
- Revenue controls
- Stock ordering for stationary, maintenance, office supplies etc.
- Credit card reconciliation
- Ad hoc requests from HOD's regarding finance information
- Commissions - checking agents commission enquiries against opera invoice approval
- Ad hoc accounts duties as and when required

**Your Knowledge & Capabilities**:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A strong commercial awareness and good organisation skills
- Strong self-motivation
- Ability to communicate at all levels

**Proven Experience/Qualifications**:

- Can demonstrate a clear understanding of the need for confidentiality
