**Purpose of Role**

Reporting to the Warehouse Floor Manager, this role will support in the leadership of the Warehouse team. Our Warehouse Team Leaders help to ensure that an excellent customer experience is delivered throughout the supply chain.

The areas of focus in this role will be the post-sales experience, arranging Wholesale Domestic warehouse functions which include own van deliveries; goods-in bookings; carrier despatch; stock control; general warehouse duties.

The successful applicant should be confident and driven with a natural ability to lead and coach a team. You should be a problem solver who is confident and level-headed when handling conflict and other challenging situations.

Our team leaders must be team players with a passion to drive change and add value to the warehouse and wider business.

**Key Relationships**

**Customer Service** - supporting the CS team to provide clear and focussed communication on customer queries relating to despatch and stock queries.

**Purchasing** - the accurate and timely booking on of containers and goods-in stock to support our customers’ needs/ Stock counts for accuracy and customer promise.

**Sales **- providing sales support for customer despatch through our carrier network and own van deliveries.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Coordinate warehouse team to determine staffing levels and assign workload.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehouse activities.
- Measure and manage individual performance and productivity.
- Monitory, record and track progress towards company KPIs.
- Manage and review H&S standards throughout the warehouse - maintain cleanliness, report faults and arrange maintenance.
- Stock management - receiving and checking deliveries; picking stock to fulfil orders; accurate and secure storage of stock; loading vans; stock-takes.
- Oversee despatch of orders and coordinate deliveries.
- Assist in offloading shipping containers, ensuring stock is palletised and stacked correctly and securely.
- Face-to-face customer support (e.g. deliveries, loading stock into vehicles).

- Knowledge of NetSuite or similar system

**Salary**: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
