Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand project requirements
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimation
- Analyze project scope and identify potential risks or challenges
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to determine project needs
- Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Research and source pricing information from suppliers and subcontractors
- Evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitiveness and quality
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and other relevant documentation
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process and provide cost control recommendations

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients, contractors, and team members
