A Structural Warranty Provider seeks a Building Inspector to oversee construction of traditional housing and low-rise flats from foundation through to completion. Starting salary from £42,000 to £50,000. Benefits include company car/ allowance, bonus, 37 days' leave, chartership funding if required, with the opportunity for career progression.

**Responsibilities**:

- Inspect construction or conversion of properties to ensure compliance with latent defect insurance standards
- Provide quality assessments, report on defects, structural faults and recommendations to clients
- Schedule own workload and ensure efficiency during site visits
- Record inspections and relay findings to customers as required
- Advise the underwriting team on technical queries
- Balance insurer and client expectations

**Requirements**:

- Relationship management
- Problem solving capability
- Foundation to completion site experience
- Awareness of structural warranty risk management and associated construction standards
- Degree/ NVQ Level 6 qualified
- RICS/CABE/CIOB/ICWCI membership preferred
