Bathshack are looking for a new Yard Operative based in our Antrim Showroom. Working for a fun and friendly family run company, the role will hold responsibility for the general upkeep and cleanliness or our yard and warehouse.
**A bit more about the role**
- Accountable for all aspects of housekeeping across all yards and warehouse.
- Implementation of cleaning schedule.
- Sortation of recyclable waste and control waste management.
- Emptying cages/bins and loading of waste into appropriate containers (e.g. Compactors)
- Sweeping and cleaning of all areas used.
- Responsible for completing daily checks and upkeep of warehouse equipment.
**Additional daily duties may include**:
- Loading/ unloading vehicles.
- Packing and wrapping goods for dispatch.
- Responsible for the build of racking and shelving within the warehouse.
- Assisting other members of the team where required.
- Timely reporting of any hazards, particularly with racking and shelving.
**A bit about you**
- Good experience of working in a Yard/ warehouse environment
- Able to work within a team
- Flexible attitude
- Good attention to detail
- Pride in maintaining a clean organised work environment
- Ability to self-motivate and work independent of direct supervision
- Able to perform physical duties for length of shift
- Ability to undertake some light maintenance work
