A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a PA/Carer to assist a bright and polite man in his 30s affected by a significant physical disability and is reliant on his wheelchair for his independence.

The post is for one fixed day per week, between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., as well as any extra hours and annual leave in lieu of his main carer with adequate notice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work around their childcare needs and fulfil the needs of the individual.

The service user will require support to accomplish routine tasks such as household chores, daily activities, and for fantastic daily outings of his choice. He will need help with all aspects of personal care and will rely on the experience of his carer to provide this. As well as prompting and managing simple medication, toileting, and bathing with the use of a ceiling hoist.

Must be a confident driver who can interpret the severity of the individual’s medical condition while driving and be willing to undertake a DBS check, if required, covered at the cost of the employer.

Benifits:
