Greenways Forest School is looking for a passionate and energetic Forest School Assistant to join our team in Wick Woodland, Hackney. If you love the outdoors and are passionate about providing children with enriching, nature-based learning experiences, we want to hear from you

**Key Details**:

- **Location**: Wick Woodland, Hackney
- **Schedule**: Every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:15 PM, with additional hours available during school holiday camps from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
- **Pay**: £14 per hour

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, educational outdoor activities and games.
- Help ensure the safety and well-being of all children, adhering to our safety policies and procedures.
- Support the development of children’s social, emotional, physical, and intellectual growth through outdoor learning experiences.
- Assist with setting up and clearing away materials and equipment used in forest school sessions.
- Engage with children, encouraging curiosity, exploration, and learning about the natural environment.
- Work closely with the Forest School Leader to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating outdoor learning environment.

**Requirements**:

- A genuine passion for outdoor education and a strong belief in the benefits of learning outside the classroom.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational or outdoor setting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to inclusive education and the ability to engage children of all abilities.
- An understanding of health and safety in an outdoor setting.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this process).
