The site is currently award winning nationally, in both bacon and gammon. With 500 employees, we process 80-90,000 pork legs per week, to be sold to major UK retailers, wholesalers, and restaurants. The Hygiene Night Shift Department carries out deep cleaning of machinery and the general Factory areas when production is at reduced capacity. In addition to basic rate hygiene operators will have an operational allowance.

There are opportunities for development to for existing experienced operators.

Do you have a keen eye for detail, enjoy seeing something sparkle and want to work whilst everyone else sleeps? We are looking for Factory Cleaning Operators to work on our small and friendly Nights Hygiene Team. You will be hands-on supporting the cleaning of our factory areas and the deep cleaning of our machinery and equipment to ensure we meet the standards expected in food manufacturing. You will be working at our Bugle factory where we specialise in the deboning of pork legs and onward processing of that product in to award winning gammon or the sale of smaller residuals.

Rate of pay**:£13.78 per hour** (£10.42 per hour + £3.12 shift premium and £0.24 Operational Allowance)

Progression opportunity up to **£14.54 per hour**

January to September: Mon to Fri 22:00-06:00 or Friday to Sunday 18.00-06.00

October to December: Sun to Wed 20:00-06:00 or Wed to Saturday 20:00-06:00

**The Job**

To be a hands-on Operator supporting the delivery of the Hygiene function in the factory.
The cleaning of the factory equipment, such as dolavs, tanks, racks, etc.
The cleaning of all internal areas up to the required standards laid out in the hygiene management system.
Ensure all procedures are followed correctly.
Comply with the food and hygiene requirements at all times.
Support in the delivery of the key performance targets in your area of work
Attention to detail and accuracy with tasks and quality standards is essential.
Knowledge and understanding of the factory machinery are desirable but training will be given.
Physical lifting and movement of equipment components
