Parts Professional

Classic Motor Cars is recruiting for new team member for our busy Parts Department. If you are looking for a career in the classic car industry or have a passion for automotive in general, we would like to hear from you.
We have a vacancy for a Parts Professional. You will hold a recognised relevant qualification and/or have a solid background either within the industry or a related sector and be able to demonstrate the ability to work to deadlines.
By its very nature as Parts Professional, you will be working closely with the aftersales and restoration team in the workshop to understand what parts are required for the work that is coming into the business.
Experienced parts professionals can look forward to interesting and busy role within our business working to both service our internal workshops, trade counter and online business.
You will ensure that all customers at workshop and retail areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all parts and 3rd party orders are processed on the same day. You will be required to complete all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner and log any discrepancies of stock with the Workshop Manager.

- Ordering of parts
- Working with Workshop Manager to quote for internal bookings
- Ensure internal and retail customers are kept up to date on parts supply.
- Departmental housekeeping including warranty controls
- Compiling regular stock takes
- Hitting department KPIs
- Stock management of both New and Heritage parts.
- Upselling of products and services
- Becoming Classic Parts Expect

We’re looking for you to have been in a similar Parts role in a dealership or busy independent motor industry-based environment. You will have a good understanding of parts ordering and be able to prioritise your workload efficiently.

**Education**:
- Automotive Parts experience 4 years (preferred)
- Knowledge of Kerridge and/or other DMS preferred
Licence/Certification:
- Driving license (essential)

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
