Our Residential Service is deeply committed to providing the highest quality of care and support for our children. We are dedicated to forging strong, positive relationships with every child in our care. Through creative and engaging activities, both inside and outside the home, we aim to foster the growth and development of all aspects of our children's lives.

As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the children and young people in our care receive the care and support they need. This would involve living and working alongside the children at home, sharing meals, and participating in household tasks, such as cleaning, cooking, and shopping.

Our children are unable to live safely with their parents or family due to adverse childhood experiences and trauma. Residential Child Care Workers provide 1:1 support for our children's feelings, emotions, and behaviours and collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers, schools, police, and health workers, to ensure their needs are met. We encourage our children to participate in all decisions, including recruitment, and seek workers who possess the skills, abilities, and approach that our children require. Specifically, we desire workers who are patient listeners, able to take action, have a good sense of humour, and are skilled in cooking.

**What you can expect from us**

Our management team is highly skilled and dedicated, with a confident, motivated, and supportive approach. With over 50 free courses and funded qualifications, our team can help you learn and grow. Our comprehensive induction program provides you with all the tools and knowledge needed to excel in your role. For permanent staff, we offer monthly 1:1 reflective space with managers, a comprehensive Employee Support Offer, and opportunities to network with other professionals. Our organization offers a wide range of staff benefits, including access to our "Blues and Twos Credit" Union, Blue Light Card membership, and discounts at local retailers.

**What we are looking for**

**Passion -** Ensuring that our children can achieve their aspirations, regardless of their size, should be at the forefront of your priorities. We are seeking dedicated practitioners who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children, young people, and families. Experience is not a prerequisite, but a genuine desire to help is essential.

**Challenge **- We're seeking a dedicated and committed individual who will always go the extra mile for our children, even on challenging days. Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit professional team is essential, as you'll need to navigate tough times together.
