Rocket Training is looking for a part time SEN / Pastoral Support worker to support young people

As a support worker you will be working closely with young people who require additional support to thrive. This will be on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing classroom support, counselling and mental health support. Support workers provide both basic academic support and support the social and emotional wellbeing of young people in the classroom and practical workshop. You will be assigned a case load of learners who need regular reviews.

This is a part time position working from our Kensington site, Two days per week 8.30 to 4.30

The successful applicant will, also, have:

- Good Literacy and Numeracy skills;
- High expectations and the ability to motivate pupils;
- A calm personality, patience and good sense of humour;

- Happy and hardworking students;
- A supportive, dedicated and enthusiastic staff team;

- A valid DBS, or a willingness to obtain this;
- The right to work in the UK;

Salary is Pro Rata
