**Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- First Aid is desirable

This position is to provide care to one service user on specific days each week. Service user has specific needs and has a well established plan of care to be adhered to.

Hours of work are

Monday:

- 3.30 pm - 7.30 pm

Friday:

- 3.30 pm-7.30 pm

Saturday:

- 9.30 am-1.30 pm

Gibson Training and Care are an accredited living wage employer and as such pay will increase from 1.04.24

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £10.90-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
