**The Role**
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen and related areas.
- Preparation of produce for mealtime, for example vegetable preparation and making of sandwiches
- Ensure correct storage of all dry and perishable produce.
- Safely storing cleaning materials
- Ensure all cooking utensils and pots are cleaned to the required standards
- Carry out any tasks assigned by the Head / Second Chef or Home Manager

We have our own Catering Academy to provide excellent training and induction programs for all new Catering Assistants and we will give you all that’s needed to have a successful career as a Catering Assistant with us. **Sandfields care home opened in February 2014 and provides the best in residential and nursing care in luxurious surroundings.**

Our purpose-built care and nursing home in Cheltenham, on St George’s Road, provides full time residential and nursing care, and short term respite care, for up to 90 older people.

Care UK is fast developing a reputation for designing stunning care homes that enhance residents’ lives in a host of ways.

We get to know each resident extremely well, from their physical needs to their likes and dislikes, hobbies and interests, then design a care plan that’s entirely tailored to them.
