E3D Piping Designer

**Job Type**: Full Time (Mon - Fri), Fixed Term 6 months
Location: Aberdeen

Details / Duties:

- Responsible for any piping design activities of studies, modifications projects (RFM), in conjunction with piping engineers, other discipline engineers, project management and construction
- Ensure all piping design is carried out in accordance with the client’s specifications, other standards as required and current UKCS good practice
- Utilise 3D design software (E3D, Navisworks) to route, support and detail piping spools and supports
- Utilise 2D CAD (AutoCAD) to design piping spools, supports and ancillaries as required
- Ensure project quality assurance objectives are met
- Responsible for correctness of piping design content within discipline deliverables
- Contribute to incentive, cost effective and safe engineering manhour estimates

Experience & Requirements:

- Proven work experience in a similar position within the Oil & Gas industry
- Strong proficiency in piping design
- Excellent Technical HSE awareness
- Proficient in use of E3D piping design software
- Brownfield Engineering for Plant Modifications
- Level / Diploma: HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Strong interpersonal, communication skills both verbally and written whilst building/maintaining relationships
- Previous Offshore experience and valid certification
- AutoCAD 2D & 3D
