**Material Planner / Scheduler - Permanent - Ballymena**

**Your focus will be to purchase and expedite the delivery of materials to meet production requirements and assist with maintaining and updating the Master Production Schedule. Duties will include**:
1. Responsible for the procurement of materials via Sage system using Bill of material, MRP and purchase order requisitions for parts
2. Communicate purchase orders effectively to suppliers
4. Report daily on constraints likely to affect production
5. Maintain daily the online Shortages Portal with updates on expected dates for late parts
6. To assist in the management of the engineering change process, with regard to analysing existing stock
7. To understand the workings of and maintain the Master Production Schedule for the business
8. Monitor stock levels and minimize overstocking
9. Ensure all purchase orders are placed correctly for current production build

**Criteria**:

- Proven, relevant experience scheduling high volumes of material to meet production demands
- 5 GCSE Grades A-C to include Maths and English or equivalent
- Computer Literate with experience of spreadsheets and databases.
- Experience in use of MRP systems
- Suitable experience in scheduling to a build programme
