Senior Research Assistant Psychologist/Impact Officer - Community Brain Injury Neurorehabilitation Service

This job offers an exciting opportunity for someone to take a lead role in planning, coordinating and completing an impact case study which endeavours to capture the impact of clinically applied research in a vibrant and innovative community neurorehabilitation service. The research includes but is not limited to the impact of a multicentre feasibility randomised controlled trial of a group positive psychotherapy intervention for people living with acquired brain injury. This is structured according to published theoretical models developed by the research team. The team is also involved in service development projects aimed at developing more effective and sustainable models of health care with a range of community partners.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and academic skills, together with the ability to organise, supervise and motivate others. The post-holder will demonstrate enthusiasm, innovation and leadership when faced with challenges and will provide strategic, tactical and operational management skills in the planning and execution of the impact case study. They will actively promote research amongst clinicians, service users, wider NHS service and community partners, and be responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting on research data. This includes statistical data analysis using complex methods and established software packages.

Access to own transport is essential.
