**What you will be doing**:

- Monitoring of maintenance performance and taking necessary action whilst monitoring KPI's and achieving set targets.
- Encouraging collaboration between the production and maintenance departments - _You are a true believer that the best answers come from those who are living and breathing the operation._
- Making sure our people and operation is carried out safely - _Safety is just how you approach your work.You inspire a safe working culture, and your people believe SHE forms part of their role._
- Implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement initiatives
- Leading and developing your workforce through your adaptive management style whilst identifying your team's training needs.

**About you**:

- You have a strong appreciation and understanding of a safe working environment, hazard awareness and a compliant attitude
- You will ideally have experience of landfill avoidance processes or similar
- You will have experience in maintenance and improvement techniques
- You will have good numeracy and verbal reasoning skills and be able to read electrical and engineering drawings.
- You will have a recognised maintenance qualification.
- Previous exposure to modern manufacturing lean techniques would be an advantage.
- A supervisory or management qualification would be an advantage
