Acacia Care is coming to Hinckley Currently in the last stages of construction and due to open in Autumn, Granville Gardens Care Home is seeking a hard-working, **Head Housekeeper **with a keen eye for detail, to join us on this exciting new journey. Providing residential, respite, and dementia care, with 68 state-of-the-art rooms for residents to reside in, spacious dining and lounge areas, and so much more, we are excited to be bringing this opportunity to Hinckley

With the desire to always improve and develop their staff skillset, you will be encouraged to progress and develop skills, qualifications and training with the support of the company, so no experience is required

**What you will receive as Head Housekeeper ;**
- **£13.02 per hour**:

- **Full-time, permanent **contract
- **37.5 hours **per week on a 6-weekly rolling rota
- **8.5-hour shifts, **8am-4.30pm, 4 on 2 off
- Based in Hinckley - **LE10 0JD**

**What you will be doing as Head Housekeeper ;**
- Ensure all areas of the home are cleaned, maintained and presented to a high standard at all times
- Recruiting, training, reviewing and motivating team members
- Prepare and maintain a 6-weekly rolling rota, including a duty rota for domestic and laundry duties
- Instruct the Housekeeping team in their role and required duties/allocation
- Implement and maintain cleaning schedules for the entire home
- Establish and maintain a rapport with individual residents and agree on a convenient time to carry out the cleaning of their rooms
- Ensure the laundry of residents’ clothing is to the highest standard, including ironing

**What you will need to be successful as a Head Housekeeper;**
- Experience supervising a team of staff
- As well as excellent leadership skills, you’ll have a methodical nature and great attention to detail
- Understanding of COSHH & a commitment to infection and prevention control
- Ability to work unsupervised, using initiative and maintaining professional standards, even when under pressure
- Basic sewing skills and the ability to use essential cleaning equipment
- You will be the sort of person who doesn’t go out of the house without leaving a tidy bed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.02 per hour
