The post will suit a Core Trainee (CT1-CT2) who wishes to broaden his/her academic skill base and to gain further experience in Gastro IBD research.

The postholder will work under the supervision of Professor Shaji Sebastian on the project 'Risk factors and immunological profile of de-novo and drug induced dermatological manifestations in IBD'.

This appointment is an excellent opportunity to gain experience of clinical research in a highly active research organisation. The Clinical Research Fellow will work in the Gastro IBD research Team under academic and clinical supervision of Professor Shaji Sebastian.

**Specifically, the postholder will**:

- Collate 20 year IBD cohort data on dermatological EIMs
- Collect DNA and biopsy samples from psoariasis and psoariasiform skin lesions de-novo and post TNFi therapy
- Analyse trends and treatment patterns

The post-holder will learn the research regulatory pathway, establish themselves within the IBD research team and seek opportunities to generate external research funding awards.
