Interaction Recruitment are working with a well established client based in Alfreton who are currently recruiting for a workshop based Hydraulic fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.

Salary is £30k+ dependent on experience, overtime paid at X1.5 over 40hours

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 6am - 16:30pm

The purpose of this role is to ensure that the machinery that the client produce are fitted with safe and operationally secure electrical and hydraulic systems such that current legislation and customer specifications are met.

Responsibilities and duties:

- Must have experience working with and understanding hydraulic systems and equipment
- Some basic understanding of electrical systems is an advantage but not essential, however must be willing to learn
- To interpret customer requirements from specifications sheet
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Install, inspect and test hydraulic components and systems
- Complete final testing and inspection of completed projects
- Sign off inspection form upon completion of projects
