**About the Role**:
As an Associate Lecturer in Health and Social Care Management, you will be responsible for delivering engaging course content to students, ensuring a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical industry insights. Your role involves assessing and providing constructive feedback on student work, fostering an environment of learning and growth. You'll also engage in curriculum development, continuously updating course material to reflect the latest trends in health and social care. Part of your duties includes offering academic support and career guidance to students, nurturing their professional and personal development. Additionally, you'll collaborate with colleagues on research initiatives and participate in departmental activities, contributing to the broader academic community and enhancing the institution's educational offerings.
**About You**:
Comprehensive Subject Knowledge: Possessing an in-depth understanding of health and social care principles, practices, and current industry trends.
Effective Communication and Presentation Skills: Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and engagingly to a diverse range of students, both in written and oral forms.
Assessment and Feedback Proficiency: Skilled in evaluating student work accurately and providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
Strong Interpersonal and Mentorship Abilities: Building rapport with students, offering academic guidance, and creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Adaptability and Collaborative Spirit: Flexibility in adapting to changing educational needs and working effectively with colleagues for curriculum enhancement and research projects.
**Additional Information**:
**Salary - £19.23 per hour (a multiplier of 2.5 may be applied depending on the work offered)**
