The health and care department delivers clinical training and higher education up to level 4 for health care support workers, for both the BCUHB region, and in some contexts, all of Wales. You would be working with an outstanding team of nursing and health care lecturers, plus support service staff, from our main campus at Coleg Llandrillo, Rhos-on-Sea. Our facilities include state-of-the-art skills and simulation facilities, which includes a fully equipped 7 bedded hospital ward, assistive technologies, community care / domiciliary care room, skills training spaces, and modern and spacious lecture and study spaces. A real asset is our University Centre at the Rhos-on-Sea Campus, which provides fabulous facilities for the Grŵp's Higher Education students.

Our lecturing team currently deliver a range of high quality professional programmes to hundreds of students each year; some examples include, the All Wales NHS Induction for Health Care Support Workers (all fields), we also offer a range of clinical skills courses to meet the needs of primary care, alongside our flagship level 4 Health Care Practice Programme that is suitable for all fields and mapped for progression directly onto level 5 of nursing programmes and ODP.
