**Position Overview**:

**What you will be doing**:
**HR Function**:

- Managing and maintaining personnel records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Manage new employee onboarding process and necessary paperwork, including issuing of contracts/new start paperwork, gathering of personal data, and coordinating 2-day induction process. Liaising with IT team and organising equipment.
- Managing probationary process, issuing documentation and reminders to managers inline with probationary rules.
- Handling employee queries and concerns related to HR policies, benefits, and workplace issues.
- Overseeing employee leave and absence management, including holiday requests and sick leave documentation.
- Organise Occupational Health referrals and recommendations
- Assist in first level employee relations such as investigations, disciplinaries or grievances.

**Payroll Functions**:

- Preparing and submitting payroll data to third-party external partners by agreed deadlines.
- Manage and monitor overtime process.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including filing paperwork and monitoring our time and attendance clocking.
- Handle payroll-related queries and issues, liaising with third-party in a timely manner.
- Understand business rules, policies, and procedures, to allow you to check third-party processing for accuracy.

**What we are looking for**:

- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment as either a Payroll and/or HR administrator is a fundamental requirement.
- An exceptional level of attention to detail are important for efficiently handling our payroll tasks, in order to identify errors or anomalies that may occur from our third-party provider.
- Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information is required.
- Aptitude for independently managing workload and priorities to meet objectives with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strength in interpersonal and communication skills is highly valued, as is a growth mindset.

**Qualifications**:

- HNC or equivalent in Human Resource Management/Business Admin/Payroll
- Proven experience in HR and payroll administration. Minimum 2 years’ experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll and HR best practices.
- Proficiency Microsoft packages.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
